About the Language
Greek is an ancient Hellenic language of the Indo-European family. With over 13 million speakers, it is spoken natively in Greece, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, Albania, Romania, Egypt, France, and Ukraine. Modern Greek differs from Classical Greek; it comprises varieties of the language spoken in the present era, and traces its origin to the fall of the Byzantine Empire in 1453. However, modern linguistic features began to appear as early as the 4th century CE.

Enhanced PDF Features
The Audio-Forum® Difference: Audio-Forum® PDF books are enhanced with links to MP3 audio files. Speaker icons in the text allow you to hear the corresponding audio. The MP3 files can also be loaded onto your MP3-compatible CD player or digital media player. The PDF books may be read (without enhanced features) on tablet computers.
