About the author(s):

Lynne Backer is an experienced educator in a northwest suburb of Chicago, where she currently enjoys teaching first grade. She has worked with elementary age students as well as both teaching and speaking to adult groups. She holds a Master’s Degree in Supervision and Curriculum. Lynne and her husband Bob live out in the country with their Norwegian Elkhounds and their cat, Wicket. They enjoy observing various wildlife and admiring the beautiful scenery. They also enjoy traveling whenever possible. Lynne has also channeled her creativity into the writing of children’s literature. Feeling that dogs and children are a natural combination, she uses her Norwegian Elkhounds as a central theme for her books.
